Al-Razi was a doctor, a chemist, and a philosopher. According to Wikipedia, he is considered the father of psychology and psychotherapy. Among 200 other books he authored, he wrote a book titled, Why People Prefer Quacks and Charlatans for Skilled Physicians.

He must have been a very busy man, yet he found the time to write. Even thousands of years later his words are still read by modern readers. Most writers hope to write something that will last and continue to influence others long after they are gone. Al-Razi achieved this.

One of the major challenges for me to write as often and as much as I want to is the lack of time, yet Al-Razi always found or made the time to write since he said:

“I have written 20,000 pages (in small print), moreover I spent fifteen years of my life — night and day — writing the big collection entitled Al Hawi. It was during this time that I lost my eyesight, my hand became paralyzed, with the result that I am now deprived of reading and writing. Nonetheless
