Imagining a Post Trump American Future
Our country is currently torn in two, ripped asunder. Democrats and Republicans are so far apart ideologically that there is little chance for reaching across the aisle without having one’s arm bitten off. Civil discourse is long gone and all that’s left is verbally locked and loaded disagreement.
Since our present situation is so far from ideal, I want to look to a better future rather than at the depressing present. It’s difficult to know what’s really going on in America today because of all the contradictory news that is confusing and incomplete and in some cases skewed so far one way or the other that it’s impossible to know the truth.
It’s easy to see that this America is not the one we want.
The good news is that the distractions and disagreements and discord festering in America today will one day end.
Therefore, I want to look to the future and consider what a Post-Trump America will look like.
Whether it is in January 2021 or January 2025, Trump will eventually be gone.
Of course, once Trump is gone America will be deprived of constant news cycles that feature a daily dose of someone foaming at the mouth and spitting…
